FSF: Fight or Flight

Five Sentence Fiction ~ Flight

Fight or Flight. Her preferred method was flight. Run as fast and as far as you can. Sometimes...okay mostly...flight was "on the wings of angels" literally.  Surely death had to be easier than life.

  3. That picture is incredible!
    I've dealt with suicide ideation for most of my life. For those who don't know, ideation does not mean that a person is actually planning to commit suicide, although sometimes there can be both. In my case it means that when life gets too hard, suicide sounds like a better option and I think about it a lot, but I wouldn't actually do it because there are too many people depending on me.
    Anyway, that's what your words make me think of because I feel that way, more of the time than I care to realize.

    1. Helena, yes, I couldn't believe that art when I was looking! I understand and live with ideation too. One day it would be nice not to think about it.
