Easing my way back into writing with mindfulness, introspection, and writing challenges.
I think we were on the same page when we visualised the haiku...obviously I like it...Do visit me..RS:)
Higher the swing greater the impact of the fall!! But we did have a crazy childhood!!
I remember this! I am so clumsy it never ended well
Nice haiku :)
Lol...guess this was not unusual. I stopped when one day flopped on my stomach and those darn buttons with metal anchors were on my jacket and wounded me. Then became afraid of it. But still remember like I was flying for a second or two. Thank you for the visits. I will be visiting all.
Love this...thank you...PeaceSiggi
You have captured that flying feeling.
This was the best thing to do on the swings--although I found that I enjoyed jumping not from the highest point, but from the point farthest forward. That way it really launched you straight and you got tons of air time, but it didn't hurt when you landed. :)
lol...yes, the highest point on the upswing! otherwise the swing would hit your head ;-O Flying...
This really felt lke flying, ut only for an instant!!:)
You really flew for a few seconds, must have been very exciting feeling Maggie, I only swung as high a possible but all the while holding on to the swing, and only asked to be pushed higher :D
To do this was a challenge and a rite of passage.
You know, Ann, I didn't know that until now in reading these comments. I was very isolated. When I was 5 living on an Army base, no kids my age. Spent hours on the swings. Had no idea it was something normal. Thank you ♥
This took me yearssss back into my childhood days! Aha...beautiful
We should have more of the child in us that will swing high and be brave enough to leap! Love it!
Nostalgic .... Nice one
