dVerse: Alliteration
The challenge is actually for a specific alliterative form with certain accents and number of accents per line which makes my head spin. This is my small contribution to the purely alliterative requirement.
lavender is love
fields of purple ~ passionate
our love lingering
smiles...i like the love lingering as lavender...both a color and a scent...
ReplyDeletethis was a beast of a form...
ReplyDeleteThank you for liking my lavender haiku. I love lavender too and was in Provence last year but missed lavender season. Maybe next time. My brain is the exact opposite of Bjorn. He lives for writing these complex forms and I don't know what ababab means and don't want to. lol
DeleteLovely!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Laurie!
DeleteWow! That brought up a smile on my face. Lovely haiku! :-)
ReplyDeleteJust lovely!

ReplyDeleteMe too! I got very tiny plants for my new butterfly garden but they have little purple shoots. Should grow in stronger and bigger next year :)
DeleteI think it works great... Let me see if I can respond with a lavender alliterative verse..
ReplyDeletecome lavender love,
and linger together
singing bumblebees
and butterflies today
a passion in purple,
what a purpose for us
Smiles.. you had almost all the words :-)
