Carpe Diem #238 ~ Affection
I was so taken with Kristjaan's writing of the moon, I wanted to write of that love as well. The photo is not the best of the super moon but my husband took it for me to use in my Polyvore art.

your smile warms my heart and soul
your love is always
smiles...i like the second one...the moon always moves me...there is an intimacy in that second one i like...
ReplyDeleteYou were quick, Brian. I deleted the first one right after I published it. Thank you for liking my haiku. It's easy for me to write about love :)
DeleteAnd when she-the moon is that bright, one can almost see the goddesses dancing!! Lovey sensual set!Carpe Diem -Affection
ReplyDeleteYou always know the perfect thing to say. In real life I'm awful at small talk. Wish I could write comments as well as you write your haiku. Thank you!
Delete2 very different, and lovely haiku...I can see those goddesses dancing in the wood...
ReplyDeleteI would love to go out on a moonlit night with my women goddess friends and do that. With the men guarding us ;-O
Deletethe 2nd haiku sparks the memory of my love's arms surrounding me with love and security!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad, Nonnie. That's what I was thinking of about my husband :)
DeleteSimply beautiful, Maggie Grace
ReplyDeleteHow the moon can evoke the wonderful feel! It's amazing Maggie! It's still a very good pic!

Two wonderful displays of affection Grace :)
ReplyDeleteA Life Of Affection
I always had a soft spot for the Moon Goddess:)
ReplyDeleteVery nice, very moody - in a good way. The first one is really intriguing..

I love the second one... The moon for me is always cold... here in Sweden the nights are to bright in summer, and in winter it's always icy cold in the moonlight...
ReplyDeleteI'm just guessing that the second piece is truly addressed to your beloved...
ReplyDeleteUntamed Affections
Yes, it is, MMT. Love is the other topic that's easy for me to write about.
DeleteLovely...the moon never gets old for me.
ReplyDeletePeace

Please forgive my lack of response and not getting to your haiku until so much later than normal. Rough day. Thank you for stopping by and your comments. Seeing all of you gathering here each day brings such joy and comfort to me.
ReplyDeleteWonderfully composed set of haiku Maggie.
