Carpe Diem Freestyle #2
We have an option of a challenge to do a new form of Japanese poetry called a PI-ku: 3-1-4 (the number of PI). I like small verse so here is my first try.

my heart's delight
Probably not what the Japanese had in mind but I just had dark chocolate gelato last night and I adore chocolate!

At first I thought you meant haiku but realize you mean CHOCOLATE! :)
DeleteSuch a delicious Pi-ku...I can almost taste it. :)
ReplyDeleteVery tasteful Pi-ku Maggie. I like this short poetry form a lot, but I am not so good in it.
ReplyDeleteIt's actually more difficult to say a complete thought in 8 syllables. Wonderful form though!
Deletenothing like some melting chocolate in your warm hands...
ReplyDeleteMMM. tasty... love how you did it.

We fell in love with gelato in Italy and then it was everywhere in France last year. Tough to find really good gelato in the US. Never the exact consistency as in Europe. Will have to go back....
DeleteI'm with you...
ReplyDeletejust tried Skippy Chocolate Peanut Butter
with marshmallow on graham crackers and fell
in love all over again !
Peace
