Easing my way back into writing with mindfulness, introspection, and writing challenges.
The first one for me is really picturesque. Beautiful set of haiku.
Lovely to see happy birds and people :)Brisbane Summer Rain
Very good imagery.. :)
That paints such a serene picture. I could take a nap on that porch.
Both are beautiful. They bring a calming joy.
Huddling on the porch in the rain .....memories of childhood! What could be better?Sweet Summer Rain
I am chirping my joy after your wonderful writes!
Lovely set Maggie. I love the first the most. It's a nicely crafted haiku as it is meant to be.
I like to imagine the rainy days themselves huddling on that old wooden porch!Midsummer Shower
these are gorgeous. Love the 2nd one the most.
Thank you, everyone! The one image Kristjaan posted for one of Jane Reichhold's haiku with the shade on the wooden porch inspired the second one.
Great visuals -- I was there!! :-)
Birds do love the rain dont they. I love watching them huddle under trees when it gets stormy
These are both wonderful.I'm a big fan of chirping birds and ducks.Cheers!JzB
Lucky splashing birds! No rain in sight here in the Sonoran Desert, where the current temp is 111 degrees Fahrenheit, under perfectly clear skies!Midsummer Rain
A lovely set.. but sitting on a porch sounds so relaxing
Love both, but I like the 'huddling' of the second.
