Carpe Diem #44

Compose a haiku with same feeling and tone as this haiku:

my body all alone
in this autumn I feel -
the dusk in rain

    1. Thank you, Pirate! Not sure about the "clever" part though. Or at least wasn't trying to be clever.

  7. Thank you all for the lovely comments. I thought last night, long after writing this, that I think one of the haiku of the masters uses the line "my only companion" with a flower. Wasn't intentional. Will search and see if I can find it. I know Kristjaan posted the flower haiku.
