ReplyDeleteThanks, Ivy :) You are my first comment. A walrus immediately popped into my head when I read the challenge.
DeleteMotherhood is the foundation of everything good in our world! You have captured that perfectly with this post. Well done! :)
ReplyDeleteI remember news in the past year (?) about much older women wanting to bear a child. Big controversy. Aside from that, I just love baby animals ;-) Thank you for visiting, Tom!
DeleteWhat a great combo of image and 22 toothy words. Love it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for reading, Evi! New avi :)) I see you ♥
DeleteYour words fit beautifully with the picture. A great take on the prompt.
ReplyDeleteOh the picture was very creative... :-) I can see everyone scorns at all thing that's outside normality. It's a sad world we live in.
ReplyDeleteMessage and the pic ideally matched.
ReplyDeleteLove the play on words here.
ReplyDeleteOh, this is just gorgeous! Well done Maggie!
ReplyDeleteThis is a nice use of the prompt.
ReplyDeleteA great turn on the phrase.
ReplyDeleteI thought the words were touching, but had to chuckle at the photo - literally "long in the tooth" :)
ReplyDeleteI love her confidence! My sister was an older than average mom, and some people criticized her. They were all wrong, of course.
ReplyDeleteI adore the picture too!
This was wonderful, Maggie! :)
Personally, I would have preferred a 60 yr old mother who loved and protected me and gave me however many years of lovely memories than my reality. A good mom is a good mom. Period. So glad you liked this :))
DeleteOlder moms are just more tired, is all. This was sweet--and sassy!
