Trifextra: Long in the Tooth

Trifextra: Week Eighty

Use the word tooth in a story of exactly 33 words.

Although a bit long in the tooth, she carried her unborn proudly. A pro at birthing, she scorned those who snorted at her pregnancy. She cared for her children as well as any.

    1. I remember news in the past year (?) about much older women wanting to bear a child. Big controversy. Aside from that, I just love baby animals ;-) Thank you for visiting, Tom!

  11. I love her confidence! My sister was an older than average mom, and some people criticized her. They were all wrong, of course.

    I adore the picture too!

    This was wonderful, Maggie! :)

    1. Personally, I would have preferred a 60 yr old mother who loved and protected me and gave me however many years of lovely memories than my reality. A good mom is a good mom. Period. So glad you liked this :))
