  4. The tranquil atmosphere at the beach is amazing and so refreshing!! Though you cannot put all the beaches in this category!! Some of our beaches are like carnivals and crowds throng here, come exclusively for a variety of street food!! You cannot even hear yourself thinking!! ;)

      your comment brought to mind how blessed we are in Downeast Maine to have quiet beaches, often you alone...I'm sure there must be the loud and noisy beaches in places, but not that I know of for miles and miles here.
