WOW! A masterpiece Maggie ... so in touch with the classical haiku and the inspirational music of Karunesh's Japanese Spring. Thank you for sharing this beauty with us.
*blushing* Thank you, Kristjaan! The music truly was the inspiration for this one. Usually I had something pop into my mind before I saw the visuals or heard the music. Plus my computer actually worked to have the sound.
Thank you, jrb! I had it is a one liner at first but went back and added the first line. I thought it flowed better. Appreciate it when you really really like it ;-)
I'm sure there must be times when the willows are weeping for reasons other than joy, don't you think? ;)
ReplyDeleteFirst Days of Spring
Yep, but these willows were happy they had buds on them ;-)
DeleteThank you, Lolly! First sign of spring for me is usually the green tint on the weeping willows long before other trees or plants start their greening.
ReplyDeleteI love this--I grew up with a number of weeping willows in the neighborhood.

DeleteI was very taken by the idea of spring floating along the river - it seems to me spring does come in gently as though floating ! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWow Grace, this is one of my favourites of your I think. Very, very well done :)

ReplyDeleteThank you, Bjorn! Masterpiece...hmmm. It flowed but "something" told me to add that first line. Internal collaboration.
