    I recall staring at those amazing cliff dwellings when I was out in the Southwest. They are stunning and you have described them well.

    These are the hidden place of the world that I find so enchanting! Ever been to Chaco Culture National Historical Park in San Juan County, New Mexico?

    I can't imagine how quiet those hidden places in the Southwest were thousands of years ago, before the advent of the internal combustion engine!
