wonderful set Maggie ... that second haiku is my favorite, it's so close to the way I look at the universe. We are all part of the Universe and maybe we are all stardust.
Was just telling hubby at dinner tonight without our iphones between us that others write snarky haiku and I was going to as soon as I was inspired. So glad you like my snark!
I might be unscientific but I think Earth is actually a large fragment of Mars or a meteor from Mars that was catastrophic created a huge change in our geography. So when life began, it was from molecules or cells carried from Mars. We are all Martians or something like that. Stardust sounds more romantic.

DeleteGreat contrast in your two responses.
ReplyDelete#1 is sharp and pointed
#2 says what I never can put into words...and love the use of
synchronicity.

I read somewhere that we carry traces of stardust in our blood. I guess that means the universe is soaring in us!

DeleteYou seem to be pretty "down" on Earth in your first haiku!

I'm a survivor of its ugly underbelly. Have always wished aliens would take me away. Really. Like the ones in AI if you ever saw that movie.
