Photo coloring modified by me. I know this might be intense but it's what I'm "leaking" at the moment.  No need to fully comprehend.

    1. Nanka, I appreciate your visit. I do write about my perspective/experience of life which was not an innocent childhood. It's okay to have your own interpretations but my reality is my own. Said with as much respect and kindness as is possible. You don't need to read if it's upsetting. I won't be offended.

  2. Venturing into the masks of make up can be fun for children but maybe not so for parents!

  3. This is deep, dark and rich. Yes and Wow. "Succumb to evil on cue" is about so much more than makeup on babies.

  7. Very powerful poem. Children should never be put in a position of succumbing to evil on cue. They deserve to be protected from evil and treated with kindness and gentle nurturing. Even when they are grown, it is never to late to find the kindness and nurturing one needs!

    1. I so agree. Have learned to find and trust in kindness and nurturing both within and from outside friends and new family. Much needed to heal.
