Nicely done. I think such relief is normal, especially after a long illness. It's sad to think how guilty one can feel for experiencing such relief, though.
Am glad I didn't state my reason for relief because it allowed each of you to have its own meaning. Actually, guess that's what haiku is supposed to do. hmmm. Thank you all for visiting and taking the time to write such thoughtful comments.
Sometimes relief really is the appropriate response to a death. Sometimes.
