Carpe Diem Special #31
wet leaves on the ground
reflecting fading sun
scent of autumn
wet leaves on the ground
remind me of splashing
puddles of childhood
reflecting fading sun
rain on road from storm
branches already blown bare
scent of autumn
season waning
colors changing

Beautiful series of haiku Maggie. And I am glad to see that you have used the Troiku-form of haiku. Well done.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Kristjaan. Interesting form of writing. I like it. Would need more practice. Great prompt to try it on!
DeleteI want to try this form as well thanks for the lesson :)
DeleteYou painted a scene with words. Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI never thought of the fading leaves as a "painting" of the fading sun before. Intriguing image.
ReplyDeleteScent of Autumn Wind
