Another Time

Trifextra: Week Sixty-Four

This weekend we're asking for exactly 33 of your own words plus the following three words: (1) charge, (2) century, and (3) lost. So 33 of yours plus 3 of ours means that everyone will have a 36 word response.

Not remembering her past lives, Dakota felt lost in this century. She embraced her Native American upbringing.  Often she felt drawn to the spirit of her warrior ancestors--those who would charge into battle without hesitation.

  12. Sometimes I write something that feels okay but not good or strong and this was one of those times. But you are seeing it through different eyes and I so much appreciate the comments and feedback. "Not in my comfort zone" is hard to self judge. Thank you!

  21. Wow, this spoke to me in a big way! I won't bore you with the details, but I'm a ridiculously pale hermit with both Irish and Cherokee heritage. The fighting spirit is constantly there but... oops, sorry, I said I wouldn't bore you! *blush*

    Beautiful, Maggie... so beautiful!
