One Single Impression
Prompt 271: Feel/Feelings
born into evil
life consumed by darkness
until the light of amnesia
breaks open my world
pain anguish fear
drown me while i fight to breathe
mind once shattered
slowly begins to mend
decades of heartache
fear and sadness for what had been
nearing the end of my journey
bittersweet healing
vision quest to set myself free
to embrace what remains
of my life
