CD: Crane At Work

Carpe Diem ~ Southard's "Widening Rings"

We are to write a new haiku inspired on this masterpiece by O. Mabson Southard in the same sense, tone and spirit:

a patter of rain ...
the lily-pad undulates
on widening rings

My inspired haiku:

    1. We have a few in a nearby park. Was able to watch them "fish" earlier in the summer this year. Pretty cool.

  2. So was it the crane that made Basho's frog jump in?

    1. "My pond" apparently has an ever present frog ;-O I have a small pond feature in my garden and got a little frog who I choose to think "left" for bigger waters. My poor froggie.
