Carpe Diem ~ Release
release from bondage
of invisible chains and
programmed thoughts
learn life from the beginning
child taking her first steps
***
"set raven free"
leads to the red rock canyon
release lets me soar
***
release rage of past
channel into new growth
positive energy
red rock canyon
ReplyDeletewould def love to visit there...
and learning to let go the rage, def
must happen for new growth...
the small steps really are part of the release process
ReplyDeleteReleasing rage is one of the hardest tasks we are ever given, I think.
ReplyDeleteReleasing Precious Water
Possibly the #1 issue when I was a therapist. People terrified of being angry or always angry and not knowing what to do with it besides directing it at someone else. My rage is a whole book of "how to release"...
DeleteReleasing negative thoughts will bring positivity.
ReplyDeleteVery inspiring and upbeat haiku and well composed ~ carol xx

The last one is really...Zen and my favourite. When it's not so much about the past, it's can finally be about the future.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful set of Haikus Maggie !Love the last one the most:-)And thank you for suggesting such a emotionally charged prompt <3
ReplyDeleteGreat takes on the prompt...
ReplyDeleteYour comment about people not knowing what to do with anger...
it took me an extra week to get out of rehab at The Meadows because I couldn't or wouldn't recognize anger.
Love your prompt.Peace
