Carpe Diem's Tan Renga Challenge #20
Joanne's "Autumn Leaves"
Transform Joanne's haiku into a tan renga by adding two more lines (traditionally seven syllables each). I broke tradition slightly.
autumn leaves
myriad shades red and gold
begin to fall as snow
(Joanne)
blanketing the brown earth
silently in downy white
nice...i like how you continued the thought on the snow and not on the leaves as i would have assumed....
ReplyDeleteMy brain doesn't work like other brains. I play Word Battle and 90% of the time, three people have the same word and I have something different. lol.
DeleteThat was a tough challenge...and you handled it so well, Maggie. Immaculate..:)
ReplyDeletethe transition of fall to winter .... I really like your completion of my haiku...
ReplyDeleteI like the completion - continuing with the circle!
ReplyDeleteYes the snow is a great thought.. the leaves hiding...
ReplyDeleteWonderfully done Maggie ... snow hides the falling leaves turning the colorful earth into a white blanket.

ReplyDeletejust thinking about the downy white gives me a sense of peace Maggie. thank you - love your completion.
