Write a new haiku in the same sense, spirit and tone as this one by Gary Gay:
new snow--
the path you made last night
has gone with you

Love this.
ReplyDeleteWhen i was a kid, i loved making the first set of footprints walking to school.
Usually somebody else was on the way first.
But once or twice i had that chance.
Cheers!

ReplyDeleteNicely written haiku Maggie.
ReplyDeletelooks like they were going in circles!
ReplyDeletethis is so wonderful - your haiku brings happy thoughts about first snow.
ReplyDeleteFrom the looks of the photo, I'd say the birds weren't at all sure of their destination!
