Easing my way back into writing with mindfulness, introspection, and writing challenges.
Nice. Your story sets in mind all kinds of thoughts.
Never been there but I know it's beautiful on the Italian coast. I'd say it was worth it! ;)
Nice! You've given us enough so that we know there are issues in their relationship, but it also feels like it could be part of a bigger story.
Aw, too bad. Hopefully being in Greece made up for it. Nice use of the prompt!
I would take Greece - preferably with a lover, but okay without. :)
Ah, the country's big enough for them to stay away from each other, right? (:
sort of like 'when in Rome'? ;-) Beautiful photo for this and great take :-)
Really a bigger story inside. Like it a lot
Waiting for the other shoe to drop, you pulled me in. Good story.
Am overwhelmed with such lovely comments. Thank you all so very much!
My ex and I honeymooned in Greece. On our 1st day I knew we would never last when he forbid me to EVER walk ahead of him ever again. I wanted to run up to the Parthenon... it was Greece after all right? So yeah... this take? Were you in my head all those years ago?
Holy cow, Marie! Who knew someone else would have a similar experience in the same country! Mine was in 1975. I wasn't married though. Ugh. Actually would have been disaster marrying my then fiance with all I know about relationships now. Hope you have found happiness.
Yep,best to make the most of the situation instead of wasting time crying over something unexpected;-)Great job:-)
There could be worse places to ditch a fiancé... Nice one.
