  3. Thank you. I saw a rescue of a fawn on a river because it was too dangerous for it to cross. Quite suspenseful to watch. Have been so wanting to use the term "calved" since I saw it on a documentary used with glaciers.

  5. Thin ice is dangerous for everyone.

    Or as the saying is

    No danger for the cow on the ice, as long as the tail remains on shore...

    (old saying meaning that's used if something is still marginally safe, because you can always pull the cow back.
